The A.S.A.K. (Armed Services Appreciation Knife) Donation Project

Bio

I was born in Georgia, and I have lived all over the South (TN, TX, AL, GA) all of my youth. My Good Lord do I miss it. I moved away however to go to West Point (The United States Military Academy) and somehow I managed to graduate.

I served about 6 1/2 years in the United States Army before I got out as a Captain in the Field Artillery.

For the next 16 years I worked in the production and product design of medical devices. I had a short break in IT Development & Support and, although I must admit I learned a lot it was short lived. I decided to return to the medical field and work for another major manufacturer in the medical diagnostics industry now.

Knife making and kydex sheaths, therefore, is a part time venture for me after work and on weekends. Although I will not allow the part time nature of this affect the quality of my work, it does, at times, affect the speed with which I can deliver. The hardest part is getting to the Post Office while it is open!

The true focus and joy of my life is my family. I am happily married to my lovely and very patient wife, Barbara, we have 3 boys and live in Maryland.
