The Bottomfeeder was designed handle first. I wanted to ensure
that it was ergonomic and easy to use.
The blade shape came after that and just flowed from what
I had developed in the handle. The short wide blade is extremely
stout but nimble so it excels in both self defense and tactical
situations as well as skinning and hunting chores. The filed
serrations on the spine give a rock solid purchase for your
thumb. The upswept tail comfortably cups the back of your
hand and does double duty for trapping and dragging in tactical
applications.
As a package this knife really makes you WANT to cut something.
Everyone who picks this knife up says exactly the same thing,
"I really like the way this feels".
It is available in all of my usual blade materials, in a gound
finish, polished, and beadblasted. The same goes for the handle
materials. Custom configurations are available, just drop
me a line. |
